Registration
ITP: Income Tax Practitioner
An Income Tax Practitioner is a person registered with the FBR who is legally entitled to represent taxpayers in proceedings before it.
Only an ITP, an advocate or a chartered accountant can appear for you before a tax officer. An unregistered agent cannot, whatever they promise, which is why matters they file often stall at the first notice.
