Sales tax
STRN: Sales Tax Registration Number
An STRN is the number issued when a business registers for sales tax with the FBR, and it is required before you can issue a sales tax invoice.
It is distinct from the NTN, which covers income tax. Sales tax on services is provincial, so a service business registers with BRA, PRA, SRB or KPRA rather than getting a federal STRN.
