Sales tax
Input tax
Input tax is the sales tax you paid on your purchases, which you set off against the sales tax you collected on your sales.
The claim depends on your supplier being registered and active on the date of the transaction. If the supplier is later blacklisted the department will disallow the input, which is the most common sales tax dispute.
