Blacklisting

Blacklisting is the suspension of a sales tax registration by the FBR, which invalidates input tax claims made against that supplier's invoices.

A buyer who paid a blacklisted supplier in good faith through banking channels can defend the input claim, but only with the payment evidence and the supplier's status as it stood on the transaction date.
